Athletic History:  Actively competed in horse shows consisting of English riding (jumping) and western (gaming- barrel racing, etc) until about the age of 16 Started working out when I was in my first year of university (18 years old).  I love lifting weights and pushing myself to the limit.  I have just recently begun doing cardio in conjunction with my strength/mass training.
I do weight training at least 5 days a week for about 1 hour.  The intensity level varies but is usually pretty high.  I try to do at least 15 minutes of cardio with 3 work outs per week. Cardio consists the elliptical machine, treadmill, brisk walking, or my favorite; the rowing machine.

Any Stories about Strength Growing Up:  I grew up around horses on our family's small hobby farm.  An at a young age I learned that I had to be in control when working around or with the horses.  Horseback riding is typically not seen as a sport that requires a lot of athleticism, but believe it or not, one must have good core
stability, leg, shoulder, arm and back strength.  I believe that is here my
strength began to develop and it showed as I was able to control some very
"hot" horses.  I have surprised a few people with my ability to fireman carry individuals
(usually guys), typically much larger than my self, with ease.

What You're Studying in School:  I am currently in my third year at UWO I am doing my Honors BA in Visual arts, with a focus on digital art.  In addition to the major, I am doing a minor in earth and planetary sciences (geology).
